The community is private and serene, but also not far from a lot of action in HB.
The Sand Castle Estates are located off Palm Ave., just walking distance to Huntington Dog Beach, Main Street and Seacliff Plaza.
In addition you are just a short bike ride to the pier and only 5 miles to Newport Beach or Costa mesa.
The community is gated with only one entry and exit point.
The streets that make up this tract are Presidente Dr and Presidio Dr.
Sand Castle Estates was built in 1978 and has 35 homes which were built by Sand Dollar Development.
Assuming you are not retired, you’ll need some access to commute roads – the 405 and 55 freeway are not far away.
Other major roads close by are PCH, Beach Blvd., and Warner Ave.
Once you decide you are going to buy a HB home, then you need to start thinking about details.
One of those crucial details is the layout and floorplan that you prefer.
Having children, or lots of possessions (and need for storage space) can affect your choices.

In spite of that fact, it does have a monthly HOA fee of $100 a month (check with agent for current fees).
The HOA fee basically pays for having a top notch location in downtown HB, within the privacy of a gated community.
Don’t let the minor HOA fees discourage you if you want to buy an home near downtown Huntington Beach.
